The Domaine de la Frenelle can be your starting point for walks or bike rides through the woods, paths and meadows. Saint Georges du Rosay, 4 km from the Domaine, and Souvigné-sur-Même, 15 km from the Domaine, will also offer you beautiful walks in a nature representative of the Perche region where the osmosis between trees, meadows, woods and streams will enchant you. 

  The Manor of Dehault - Dehault

The Manoir de Dehault, with its Percheron colours, has the characteristics of late medieval manor houses (octagonal staircase tower, charterhouse). It can be discovered from its park, which is open to visitors, as well as its dovecote, which has 1100 boxes. A nice walk between hollow paths and hillsides will allow you to admire superb panoramas. 

  The Manor of La Fresnaye - Saint Germain de la Coudre

The Manoir de La Fresnaye, a fortress from the Hundred Years' War, is the oldest Percheron manor. Its portcullis, unique in France, slides as it did at the time. The Manor offers an appreciable panorama of the Perche hills. 

  The Castle of Courcival - Courcival

Dominating its village, the castle of Courcival, built in the 17th century, grouped together 10 farms, 8 farms and 2 wheat mills on more than 500 hectares after the French revolution. The building consists of a dwelling decorated with two round towers and a pavilion in return.

The Percheron village of La Perrière will seduce you with its authenticity. You can discover the history of the pearl net, a speciality of the women of the village between 1850 and 1950, stroll through its narrow streets and walk along the path lined with pine trees, up to the listed site of the spur which offers a splendid panorama of the Perche hills.  

The medieval city of Bellême - Bellême

Bellême, the former capital of the Perche region, is a medieval town with unrivalled charm: colourful streets, 18th and 19th century town houses, 15th century porch. This walled town dominates the hills of the Perche and its state-owned forest, which is one of the most beautiful in France and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where walks are very enjoyable. Nearby, a golf course on the hillsides, very popular with amateurs, offers panoramic views of the Perche valleys. 

Neolithic Site of the Pierre Procureuse - Saint Cyr La Rosière

Located in the forest of Saint Cyr La Rosière, this site, estimated to be 3000 years old before our era, bears witness to the historical occupation of man in the region. Legend has it that this dolmen grants its most cherished wish to whoever touches it. The Dolmen is also the starting point for walks.

Plantagenet City - Old Mans

The Plantagenet city is lined with the best preserved fortifications in the whole of the ancient Roman Empire, along with those of Rome and Byzantium. They enclose medieval half-timbered houses, renaissance mansions and cobbled streets where it is pleasant to stroll, not forgetting the majestic Cathedral of St Julien. After visiting the city, don't forget to visit the world-famous Le Mans 24-hour racetrack.

 Saint Ceneri Le Gerai - Alpes Mancelles

You will not be able to leave without discovering this painter's village opening on a rocky outcrop. It will lead you through its narrow streets to the chapel built on a meadow on the banks of the Sarthe. This village can be the occasion to discover the so beautiful Alpes Mancelles, with the appearance of a Swiss landscape.
